The battle line is drawn on taxes. Republicans say it’s “no increase in taxes” and the Democrats say its “all tax increase”. Will they be able to meet in the middle? They will have to, but it’s likely going to take the “Gang of Six” (three Democrats and three Republicans) getting involved. They’ve been working on this for months.

Do you feel the squeeze, like you are paying a little bit more for everything? Well, you are right. Food, gas, and energy are soaring over the past year say the experts. This is the highest numbers in inflation since the Obama administration took office.

The USPS, (United States Post Office) reported that it has had four straight years of losses, especially with competition from email and other electronic devices, and with the high fuel costs.

President Obama became the talk of the airways for his daring Executive Order draft that makes all businesses submit a record of their donations when applying for a government contract. Supposedly, the President says this order makes businesses more transparent in their donations. To others, it looks as though he is rewarding only those who contribute to the Democrat Party and punishing those who give to the Republican Party.

“Senate Dems to Reintroduce Stealth Amnesty DREAM Act…” It’s always the same Democrats trying to push this: Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), Sen. Bob Menendez (D-N.J.) and other Democrats will urge passage of the DREAM Act at a news conference Wednesday morning at the Capitol. That doesn’t give us much time to protest does it. Isn’t that the plan?

The United States national debt is subject to a debt limit. That limit is $14.3 trillion and right now, our debt is at $14.27 trillion. We will reach the debt ceiling sometime in the next few weeks. Some project that date to be around May 16th or perhaps as late as August.

The projected budget deficit is $1.65 trillion for this year, that’s why we are set to hit the debt ceiling sometime in the next few weeks.

New developments on the war to oust Qaddafi in Libya. America’s Newsroom on Fox reports that a fresh round of NATO air strikes thunder through the capital city of Libya. These strikes are the heaviest that we have seen in weeks.

Let’s send a message to Washington: Game Over for Spending

If we don’t take immediate action, we will only see our economic problems worsen. Help me fight for conservative values in Washington. Today we received news that the unemployment rate increased yet again to nine percent. And as Congress reconvened this week, I wanted to send you an update on the debate surrounding the economic challenges facing our country. Not only are we dealing with rising unemployment, but we are trying to fight rising debt.

Did you see on the National News last week that the ATF (Department of Alcohol, Tabacco, and Firearms) was recently caught breaking the law? Apparently gun shop owners, who called in suspicious purchases, were told by ATF to complete the sale and don’t worry about it. The problem is that those sales were illegal. The government claimed they needed to track the weapons to see where they went. They needed to know if the weapons went into Mexico and to drug cartel or what?

In a perplexing development ignored by the mainstream media, the Obama Administration suspended tens of thousands of deportations last year and Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano lied to a Senate committee to cover up the astounding figure.

Happy Mother’s Day to all you moms out there. I hope the day is joyous. We don’t need gifts and stuff, we just need our children and husbands to appreciate us and to tell us they love us. We also want them to show us they love us by the way they act on this special day set aside for moms.

Dave did a beautiful post on Mother’s Day that I want to share with you. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Thank you Dave for your thoughtfulness.

The top response to this question is “You’re not a patriot if you don’t pay your taxes.” This is what we have been taught in school and by our parents. This is what they were taught as well.

We’ve all been conditioned to believe that we have to pay our taxes our they will come take your home and all your possessions and then put you in jail for tax evasion.

The official said the EU will freeze the assets of 13 Syrian government officials and ban them from traveling anywhere in the European Union. The sanctions, however, will not apply to Syrian President Bashar Assad as the EU pursues a gradual approach.

ATF in the gun trafficking business so they can report that 90% of weapons going into Mexico comes from America. That way they have a good reason to pass gun control laws. Why do they want our guns so bad? What do they have planned?

Well, it’s politics as usual again. It was only a few years ago that Democrats protested the Republicans redistricting lines to favor Republicans by leaving the State. There were gone for several weeks or maybe even a month. I don’t remember how long they were gone but it angered me that they thought that was a way to force the system to change.

A pipe bomb was just found on the entrance to the overpass that goes onto the Coronado Bridge in San Diego. This is important because that bridge goes to the Navy Seal Base. Is this an attack of retaliation or what, we don’t know. We don’t know any more information yet on this situation but it appears that it could be. It’s things like this that citizens should watch for to prevent a bad situation.

Jerusalem, May 2 – “We condemn the assassination and the killing of an Arab holy warrior. We ask God to offer him mercy with the true believers and the martyrs.”

GOOD JOB MR. PRESIDENT! The circle is complete and justice has been served!

When Republicans stick to their conservative principles, we win. It’s just that simple. Our conservative principles attract Hispanics to the Republican Party because they support these values.

Months of budget squabbling should at least teach us this: The answers to America’s fiscal craziness will not be coming from Washington, and certainly not the leadership of either party. There is no serious proposal to slash domestic spending, genuinely phase out entitlements, or take on the national-defense money hole.
